Re: pure pumice?

I'm just picking this thread up again to get myself up to date on what's currently available. I've tried various options in the past but without the opportunity to "shop", as it were, I need to look again at mail order. Firstly, I can't seem to find the Ikea product (Vaxer) any more; does ...

Re: Nice pots- with plants (No clay/plastic)

MikeT. Thanks for the correction. Written in haste (too much haste, clearly).
And yes, I photographed this one last year, August I think. I have lost them in the past when left outside so I bring this one in to a cold greenhouse (Alpine house) now.

Re: pure pumice?

Re: pure pumice?
I also bought some proper pumice from Specialist Aggregates. So I've been doing a bit of researching to find out the differences.
May I ask which grade you bought? Their "horticultural gravel" grade seems a bit large, whereas the crushed pumice looks a bit bright! Thanks....

Re: Tesco,s finest

Thanks Iann. This was the only type they had in the store - the variety of "flavours" is confusing.

Re: Tesco,s finest

Perhaps someone can tell me if the Sanicat non-clumping litter I bought a few weeks ago, from Pets at Home, is the right stuff. It's off-white in colour, not pink, and it's fine grade, contrary to what I have read on here. It was the only variety they had in the store but I suspect I may have bought...
