Here's my Guatemalan Mini that has been sat out in an open porch all winter. I left some other seedlings outside in 6cm pots and whole there are some green shoots still, I think they will all rot as the weather warms.

You've listed the most common commercial sources. After that eBay can be a good source if the seller has a good reputation for providing accurate plants (and incredibly frustrating and disappointing if not!).
The best source though is swapping with others once you have built up some pups to swap.

I've never grown these but the best thing I have found for reluctant to root plants or cuttings is pure cat litter / clay granules with the pot sat in a saucer of water.
