Re: Updated my Cactus Flower galleries

Do you use a black backdrop or a flashgun with the sync set up so only the plant is illuminated?

Looks like the plant enjoyed the extra special treatment with the paint and is now rewarding you!

Re: Sowing Massonia seeds.

So most of these seeds have successfully germinated, but Christmas happened. I went home from university and my housemate very kindly watered my plants while I was gone. But I didn't give her proper watering instructions... I understand the seedlings only have one leaf while small and most of these ...

Re: Recruiting new BCSS members from Reddit

I think the flairs concept is a bit rubbish, compared to e.g. hashtags, because only the mods can set them. Better to do as has been done and just remove them. Presumably the search function will still work? By the way, well done for bringing the thread back round to the topic  Reddit doesn't ...

Re: Lithops surprise! And ID?

I thought Lithops flowers stayed open, but mine seems to open at night and close during the day, so I don't really get a chance to see it! 20201126_213346.jpg 20201126_213338.jpg I also included a picture which shows the rest of the batch I rescued. Still holding out hope for the tiny one if you can...

Lithops surprise! And ID?

I was away for four days and came back and saw this flower bud! I feel really satisfied as I rescued a bunch of these from a garden centre, days from deaths door. This will be my first Lithops flower and I was not expecting to get any this year! Does anyone have the ID for it? 127238501_358047926871...

Re: Which seeds did you order this year?

Yeah that's what I meant. So it is basically misleading advertising it as such?

Homalocheohala texensis variegata
Also am I right that you can't buy variegated seeds?
