Re: Peter in Whitchurch

Beautiful! A majestic sight, a credit to you Peter. As others have said, if I was closer I'd be there in a jiffy!

Re: New polytunnel

Hello again! Since I've (finally) launched my little webshop I'm overjoyed to say I've had a few orders, nothing to retire on but makes it very worthwhile, thanks very much to the BCSS members who've visited - makes it all worthwhile and allows me to justify my elaborate hobby to my family! Still bu...

Thanks very much folks! Kind words, much appreciated. Also got my first order!  A few more shots of other plants that'll be going up on the site tomorrow evening if I get the time. Cochiema pondii - a right sod to pick up, doesn't want to be put down! 20190812_172531.jpg Matucana ritter...

Re: Composts and root pests

Sounds like a very good idea, a real shame they don't deliver more widely. I've done a bit of googling and can't seem to find an alternative supplier for the south west who can do the same - any suggestions much appreciated!

Re: Just eye candy

I think the dark epidermis gymno buds are probably one of the most appealing things of all, perhaps even better than the flowers themselves!

Re: New polytunnel

Nipped in this afternoon to water and repot some lophs. All these from a pack of 100 seeds from a Czech supplier. Normal l. Re: SB plant invigorator - scorch

Thanks guys, sounds sensible - you don't have problems with scorch if the day after you spray it's a hot one? Presumably only potential there if the skin of the plants is still wet?
