Re: Haworthia - pink or green?
Bill All my haworthias are now on a shady shelf, I moved them a year ago following a wonderful talk Haworthias wild & tame by Dorothy Minors. I might have to refine the arrangement as I think I have coarctata and glauca in there. The glauca looks better since its move from a north facing windows...

Re: Crassula perfoliata names
Mike
The book contains a key which includes two other varieties and a number of pictures. Minor appears to be a small form of falcata, main difference between falcata (and minor) and the other varieties is the shape of the leaves

Re: Poor quality ID please
Jane Just been reading the manual for your phone (thanks to google) and there does not seem much you can do apart from Dave's suggestion of standing further away and cropping. The sensor in your phone produces 2048x1536 images but the one I posted is only 660x495, this means when taking pictures you...

Re: Poor quality ID please
Jane Does your phone camera have any focus capability? in all of your images the background seems to be more in focus than your plants suggesting that your camera might have fixed focus with minimum being a few feet. If your phone is a fairly recent model you may find you have a macro mode - my curr...
