For a few years Southwark council have had a couple of Alsatian / Doberman size sempervivum dogs in the central reservation on Dog Kennel Hill, but I don't remember seeing them this summer I expect they may have 'gone walkies' like the Hepworth in Dulwich Park.

As Peter debunks the concrete floor deterring slugs theory, has anyone noticed a difference between wooden staging and metal staging and slug / snail population? I am guessing that aluminium staging will be less attractive than wood and galvanised steel would be a deterrent, working on the old advic...

I recently moved my 10'x8' greenhouse from Potters Bar to South London, the glass was transported in four stacks leant at a slight angle against to van's bulkhead and ply lined wheel boxes.
