I prefer cat litter to grit, it makes a much looser soil mix.

I forgot to say that I did get some c.burgeri seed so wil try again this weekend but I want to get some of the grit Diane mentioned first.

I have managed 3 times to get C burgeri seedlings growing but thats as far as they ge, the largest was maybe 3mm but I have problems remembering to spray /care for them as they are more demanding than my other succculent/cacti seeds. Hi Alan Sorry can't offer any advice but WOW 33 perhaps you can give me some advice, as this is one I would love to grow. Colin did buy me some seeds from the MSG but they only have No's on (:bangh:) so I don't know what I have as he is off for a couple of days. However my 3 plants are all still gre...

They are certainly looking good,the echino foss look very plump but have to love that little tubercle. I have a grafted tubercle which hasn't grown & it was grafted 3 yrs ago so yours is doing better already.

Certaily looking good, love the Sarracenia.
I noticed quite a few buds today & lots of the cactus are waking up, makes you want to get the watering can out....soon be time for the first spray

Lovely flowers but couldn't believe it was your first trip in the greenhouse since Xmas ::o !!! .
