Nice to see one of my 'larger' Eriosyce aurata in flower, its taken a few years,
not a huge show or the most spectacular of flowers, but a nice colour, and hopefully the following years
will show multiple flowers:)

Yes, they are very yellow, but the camera flash has made them look brighter in the picture.

I have just one thats 16cm by 13cm.

Looks like maybe an echinoides form, the spines and flower, rather than grandiflora.
Great looking plant.
