Re: Looking after members interests.

Would the petition be to scrap phytosanitary certificates for small orders?

Re: Mealy Bug

I use Bug Clear Ultra in the water and isopropyl alcohol as a contact treatment if I do see any. Haven’t had a mealybug for ages but then my plants are indoors so it’s easier to control than an open greenhouse. Any plants with mealies had soil removed, a dunk in alcohol or a brush, depends on the pl...

Re: Where can I buy cactus gravel from online?

Would a list of suppliers on this site be useful? A list for those that deliver nationally like Kaizen Bonsai and then lists for any good local ones people know about like the pumice guy Tina mentioned. Ones I’ve used and seen mentioned are: Kaizen Bonsai online. Zac’s Bonsai on Amazon. Specialist A...

Re: Haworthia care-help please

I’m not sure about the colour, I’d probably just carefully clean away any dead leaves and let those roots carry on growing as they look healthy.

I also replied your message last July with some names you were after, it should be in your inbox 👍

Re: Group planting haworthia

Thanks Mat, looking good, the Mordor ones are a bit spooky looking. Would be interesting to have a ‘greenhouse tour’ to see what others plants you have. For some reason the flowers on mine seem weird this year, one was a different structure where it was difficult to get to the stigma, a couple other...

Re: Chempak 8 vs. GT C&S Focus vs. Vitalink Bloom

Pattock, my brain hurts haha every time I click on one of those links haha, my only knowledge related to it is that San Marzano tomatoes from near Mount Vesuvius are renowned for pizza

As for the Chempak people, I guess they are just £¥@&s

Did you get any conclusions from the studies?

Re: Chempak 8 vs. GT C&S Focus vs. Vitalink Bloom

Here is the Chempak ingredients from the box 19A09F3C-DEF6-4A8C-ABA2-797F17696F38.jpeg I did my first watering today using white vinegar to reduce the pH of my tap water. However after discussing the pH with someone they suggested that my tap water was still too hard to be good for plants. It was ap...

Re: My house is the greenhouse

New growth on the Dioscorea, I gave it a drop of water between the last post and now and have just noticed a new shoot. I’ve moved it back to the windowsill as it looks a bit brown. Does anyone know when is a good time to repot dioscoreas? I want to change it to a more mineral mix. Also started adju...
