It's been in the same pot for 30+ years so I guess it might want a repot (Probably will kill it )

This is Tradescantia navicularis in a 2" pot just getting ready to flower.

I'll have a look tomorrow. To me it looks better grown hard and tight in a little mound. When it decides to flower it just looks 'leggy' but colourful.

Rod the extrafloral nectaries add something to the flowers taste wise.
Caveat.....don't lick your plants if you have sprayed with something.

Habernerocat you have prompted me to go out and take a photo just now. The branches seem to be biannual with last year's rosettes flowering this year. This has had no protection just sat there through the cold and wet.

Quite a few Hoverflies there Ernie.

Interesting how relatively young our succulent species are.
