Re: Which seeds did you order this year?
I have a large backlog of lithops seed that need to be sown, so I'm not ordering a lot of new seeds. I did get a few species from ADBLPS. Mammillaria luethyi and sanchez-mejoradae. May be a long shot to get them to germinate, but should be an interesting experiment. Drimiopsis dolomiticus. Not real...

Re: Updated seed lists
I placed an order a few days ago with www.kaktusyhk.cz and they confirmed that orders sent after 1/1/21 would need phyto and CITES 1 certificates for orders to the UK. At 500 / 1000 Kc each, these would make smaller orders vastly more expensive. I don't know how much you want to stick to rules. But...

I can't do either of those as well! Do you think its best to give the seeds to someone else that can germinate them?

Growing Blossfeldia liliputana from seeds? Solved
I have 30 seeds for this plant, and I have just discovered that they are very small and slow-growing! A guide I found has said to Water during the aestival growth cycle from March till October. Firstly, I am not sure what aestival means! They also don't like being wet so shall I use a grittier potti...

Re: Astrophytum caput-medusae; second generation
@ralph or others, any tips for sowing these? Open-air or baggie method? I will be sowing these 5 seeds in a 1:1 mix soon and I hope they're still viable! I have had these seeds since May from the BCSS seed pool.

Re: Tephrocactus geometricus seed germination
I would like to sow these seeds soon. I have 5 chunky seeds and have read this thread because I know they are hard to germinate! 9 years later, does anyone have any good tips? It is not possible for me to keep them in a 35c room whatsoever. Is there an acid that can be used to strip the coating or s...

I got home from uni today and to my delight, some massonias have germinated! (I'm pretty sure they're massonias, two very small green leaves
