Euphorbia flanaganii
This plant is looking very promising with the flower buds about to open. I couldn't resist a couple of macros.

The essence of Cow Byre has appeared again in the bottom greenhouse. Last year MrsG didn't believe me when I told her the source. She said it was from the carnivores.
However she stuck her nose next to one of these little stink bombs today and she believes me now.

Mine flowered for the first time this year a couple of weeks ago.
I think round two will be starting imminently.
Growing in Nottingham for the past 4 years and recently found my way to a Nottingham branch meeting. A few plants on a windowsill has very quickly turned into a greenhouse full!
Attempting to grow a range of turbinicarpus, coryphantha, escobaria and several other cactus genera. Tylecodons, pelargoniums and conophytums keep me occupied in the winter and an ever expanding number of gasteria live under the bench.

Eric, it's my understanding that the Cyathium is comprised of bracts which encompass a female flower surrounded by several male flowers.
My question would be as to why there are no other photos on the web in which the Cyathium match the colouring of my plant? It neither matches E. flanaganii nor E. caput-medusae. I've also not seen any comments on the essence of cow byre that emanates there from.
