Hi
Can anyone tell me what these marks are on my cactus?
Not sure if it’s starting to cork or is this normal for Copiapoa’s to do this. The cactus appears to be very healthy.
Many Thanks
Rich
What are these marks on my Copiapoa?

Possible sunburn? Copiapoas can scorch quite easily believe it or not, so if this plant was situated where the sun could hit it, that might be the answer, (but I may be wrong!)

The second picture looks like something has been having a chew ( slug or snail ? )

Hi everyone
Many thanks for your reply’s. I do keep my copiapoa’s out of the direct sun and if it is slugs, what would you recommend to prevent this?
Many thanks
