Hi all
I was looking at this A.parryi patoni truncata & decided it was looking a bit untidy, it had 9 or 10 pups & hadn't been repotted for 4 years or more.
Once I unpotted it It didn't look to bad until I turned it over , it was a mass of stolons over 20 ! .
Even the pups had 1-3 stolons, I don't know how many will survive as there was lots of breakages getting them all seperated & repotted.

I bet they all come out healthy if they have such great roots.
The mum's leaves look quite pointy... rather you repot than me.

It's because the pups were growing so well , had me worried about letting them get bigger as it would be much more dangerous
I have just been chopping off stolons from an A macroacantha & that was dangerous really sharp pointy spines, the stolons were really thick about 1.5" & I had to use a vegetable knife to chop them.
Has anyone chopped stolons into more pieces & got extra pups ?
