When I was a kid, I popped into the greenhouse one rainy autumn day wearing a cagoule with velcro at the sleeves. I picked up a Mammillopsis senilis to admire... This is still possibly one of the stupidest things I have ever done   .

Conrad - you might have met our other Phil in fact. He grew the strobiliformis and I would have been tempted myself if I hadn't recently bought a similar one. It will be interesting to see what other plants you bought. The prices were very reasonable and of course I ended up buying quite a few, despite having nowhere to put them really. Plus the bonus one for free.

Hi Phil,

I realised after I posted you might be a different Phil, oops!

The plants were indeed reasonably priced, and a great selection too, I picked up a Puna subterranea too, another I've been wanting for a while.

I'll post pics tomorrow after work.

Conrad.

Here's my haul, had to restrain myself to only get 7 plants.

Apologies the pictures are a little dodgy, lost the charger for my camera so I'm using an very old digital camera.

Oh that's exciting, the first time I see a couple of my own pics in a "I just bought post". Good choice Conrad :))

The show stand was indeed amazing with most of the plants from just two members.

Yep I'm pretty chuffed with what I managed to get.

Patrick - Did you grow some of these plants? Which ones? Amazing that most of them came from two members, they must have impressive greenhouses!
