That is a fabulous colour flower and large in relation to the plant. A good day for photography, which is more than can be said today.

Is it on it's own roots? Reason I ask is I picked up one earlier in the year and then found it was on a buried graft. I also noticed at some of the recent cactus marts the dealers have some on grafts, evidently they are now coming in from the Continent. They are nice plants though and mine has just flowered too.

This one is on a buried trichocereus stock Dave, but last time I repotted it the stock was like a piece of dried wood, and I wasn't entirely sure that the scion hadn't rooted through it. I have some seedlings too, mostly not quite flowering size yet, although one has flowered. Not difficult to grow from seed, just slow.
