September eNews

Post by Werewolf »

September's eNews has been delayed slightly by IT glitches and competing priorities but will be emailed to subscribers tomorrow (Saturday).

Unfortunately, another technical issue has come to light, meaning eNews may be delayed further.

Apologies.

I'm not sure there has been a newsletter since September 8th. If there was, then I haven't received it.

Hi,

There wasn't an eNews issued in either October or November. I'm afraid I don't yet know when they will start again.

E News is good to receive and appreciated, thanks to much hard work to get it done. It is good to be mindful of the massive effort put into work like this, usually by busy people with many other commitments.

Maybe something to consider. The National Dahlia Society has a free membership category of "Friend", for which the only benefit is receiving the E Newsletter. A proportion of these Friends get hooked by this and then go on to be full members with all the society benefits. There would be a small administrative burden in setting up additional recipients of the Emails but no other costs.

Well said Brian, e news is great, and it's all too easy to forget the work involved by a few dedicated individuals.

Hi,

Anyone can subscribe to eNews, not must BCSS members. There is a place to do so on the BCSS website together with the archived back issues.
