Peter in Whitchurch

Post by ralphrmartin »

If you can, go and have a look at Peter's (forum user Peter) collection near Whitchurch. As he has already mentioned, he's looking to dispose of his collection while it's still in good shape, which must be a difficult, if honourable, thing to do. I went today, and he has many nice plants, especially Copiapoas, but others too. I picked out a few for my collection, and the prices were very reasonable. He was also very friendly and hospitable. Well worth a visit if you are nearby, or passing that way.;

Well, that's so very kind of Ralph. I suppose that my greenhouse has now turned into a cactus nursery.
For the benefit of those who would like to bolster their own collection, here are images of the content of my greenhouse as it is today. All items available now. (3).JPG[/attachment]

Yikes, the first time in years that I am sorry I am not still living in the UK. Some amazing plants Peter and it must be very hard to let go of them.

Superb plants Peter, I hope you find good homes for them, I wish I lived closer so that I could come along.

Beautiful! A majestic sight, a credit to you Peter. As others have said, if I was closer I'd be there in a jiffy!

They are truly wonderful looking. It's like a show but just in your greenhouse. There are some that you must have been looking after for years I can see the hard work and love, you have made a fantastic job of growing beautiful plants. Awsome and thanks for sharing the photos.

Hi Peter,

I’ve sent you a PM, but I seem to be having some problems with the PM system...my message is not showing in the ‘sent’ mailbox! Please can you let me know if you’ve received it?
Thanks,
Alex
