Hi All,
I'd welcome help identifying this Tylecodon that I got as T. pygmea. Sorry about the photo quality!
Thanks for the help!

Tylecolodon fragilis?
Re: Tylecodon in flower - but which?
Tylecodon Viridiflorus is currently in flower and does have similar pale yellow flowers. Interesting background, makes a change to black velvet! I expect DT will come up with a name shortly, most of my Tylecodons have very generously come from him each September.

David - why do you doubt the name on the label, apart from its gender?

Re: Tylecodon in flower - but which?
It looks like T. pygmaeus to me.
First it was orchids, then, since c.2001, cacti and succulents. I'm into South African plants, mainly conos, lithops and haworthias, with a few cacti, especially 'posh' mamms, turbs and other smalls. Now it’s stapeliads as well...
Re: Tylecodon in flower - but which?
I've had at least 3 pygmea/us before and I think DT has reassigned each to a different species, so just suspicious of the veracity of the name! I think it has been applied willy-nilly to small plants - or perhaps I have just been unlucky! If it is a good one - that's great news.
The viridiflorus I have bear much larger flowers.
The background is part of my lock-down parenting strategy, engaging the child away from Zoom parties with its mates. It has been more popular than I expected - demonstrating they are clearly beyond bored.

In all the editing I lost the heartfelt
"Thank you to all for the help".
Adding the quote somehow erased it!
Again thanks, the online place for reliable C&S info.

Re: Tylecodon in flower - but which?
Hi David,
Well you definitely have T. pygmaeus there, to judge by the flowers. It is such a lovely little jewel when growing in habitat, but such a mess in cultivation! The stems elongate and seem to lack any wood to keep them erect unfortunately.
Best wishes,
Derek
