It's doing it again

Last year, this Turbinicarpus valdezianus produced a bud far earlier than even it needed to for its early spring flowering. It managed to eke this out in November, but that's about as good as it got.

Now, it is off again. It did get watered last night, and inflated noticeably. Must be a very excited plant.

Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs.
