Growing Blossfeldia liliputana from seeds?
I have 30 seeds for this plant, and I have just discovered that they are very small and slow-growing! A guide I found has said to Water during the aestival growth cycle from March till October. Firstly, I am not sure what aestival means! They also don't like being wet so shall I use a grittier potting mix or stick with my 1:1 potting mix?

Use the baggy method and keep them locked in the bag for at least one year. There is enough information on this forum to search on specifically for growing Aztekium and Blossfeldia with the baggy method, so I will not repeat myself here on what I previously have written on this subject.NaZzAtAzEr wrote: ↑Thu Oct 29, 2020 8:21 pm I have 30 seeds for this plant, and I have just discovered that they are very small and slow-growing! Aestival just means growing in summer (and resting in winter).
Most seedlings I get out of the humidity pretty soon, but don't do that with Blossfeldias. They are just too small to survive. See Aiko's advice.
