Ceropegia rendallii, why so rare in collections?

Post by Stig »

I have a Ceropegia rendallii x C. africana which is a lovely plant but I don't understand why pure C. rendallii is so hard tome come by. There are plenty of photos on the internet of beautiful plants and its not tricky to grow so why is it so rare in collections. If anyone has or knows of the whereabouts of a plant I'd be interested to know. I'm willing to trade it with another rare/unusual Ceropegia species.

I believe it's just regional. They are quite popular here in Asia.
And seen as a beginner friendly Caudex Ceropegia.
Beside C. woodii of course.
From taiwan. hot humid subtropical island.
Pachypodium grow like weed here.

Hi Kohinoor, thanks for your reply, I don’t suppose you know of a source of this plant in Asia that could ship to the UK?
