I am getting mine delivered to the health centre where I work (admin, don't clap), so i can tell you that is not true. No shiny succulent mags yet, though Her Majesty does deliver most days.

Re: December Cactus world is here
We all have horror stories of the "delivery from hell". What percentage do they represent of the total number of deliveries by ANY? ALL? SOME? couriers?
Should we see this in perspective? Yes I'm in dispute with a courier and supplier at present, but it represents a tiny fraction of the parcels and transactions undertaken this minute ... this hour .... this day ............

I have had multiple issues with Royal Mail and now do my very best to avoid whenever I can. I have made 3 complaints and written to their chief executive, no reply. I do think it varies though and it depends on your post person.

Must admit my postie is really nice & helpful BUT they are 'ridiculously busy' he said, its also a bit more difficult because of covid rules so if you have sniffles etc can't go to work until you have a negative result.
hermes was worse & took 10 or 11 days to drop my parcel off & it was squashed to half size, the plant may survive.

Re: December Cactus world is here
Must say my heart sinks when I see that Hermes are delivering a parcel. Last Christmas we had three parcels supposedly delivered to school but never turned up. When I and the other two staff complained we were told they had been delivered and signed for by the reception (which they hadn't). When we said they hadn't been delivered and we had CCTV that can prove their delivery person was not at school when he said he was they said they'd look into it! We all had to go back to the suppliers for replacements.
I am lucky to have a very good, very reliable postman delivering to our street. It makes up for his very grumpy, slightly xenophobic opinions about Brexit, and various other things...

Despite Kent being in Tier 3 and Covid-19 rife in the local postal network, I received Cactus World a week ago!

I wonder how many people won't be using Royal Mail to post their seed order back.......
