I've never noticed any seed on any of my Crassulas - but then it is tiny anyway.

Re: Crassula time
My hemispherica produced seed with no other Crassula in flower last summer but haven't sown any yet to check if it is either fertile or true!

Re: Crassula time
Some of the plants I pictured earlier in this thread now have flowers rather than buds, so here's an update. From a distance (3 feet or more), they look much the same, but a closer look shows the differences.
Crassula fragarioides
C sericea
C 'Celia'

They look lovely, its often a better photo from camera pictures than live as you can enlarge it.

Re: Crassula time
Those are lovely photos Mike. I've enjoyed this thread, it's made me think about the sheer variety within the genus. I just checked Plant Heritage and see there is a National Collection in Hampshire, must try to visit when such things are possible again.

A beauty, Juster
My ausensis titanopsis died this winter. That's twice I've killed it. (Same species, not the same plant...) Must get it right third time.
Hampshire is a bit far to think of a visit, but worth bearing in mind if on holiday in the deep south.

In flower at last.
Label lost under the plant. Slightly odd scent reminiscent of vanilla.Mike

Re: Crassula time
Looks like C. socialis, Mike. I like these flowers for their very pure shade of white.

Re: Crassula time
Unlike most Crassulas which have white or pink flowers, this one is very different: C. namaquensis ssp. lutea
