Crassula time

Love your old Gollum, Tina! Here's pic of mine but just plain green. It lives indoors except when outside for mealie search and destroy sessions. The leaves sometimes look wrinkled; maybe underwatered?

That's a good size & nice n vigorous, mine goes outside for the summer, maybe it has a sun tan I hadn't noticed that it was soo coloured, probably needs a repot

I have a really old/large crassula gollum

That must be seriously old (how long has Gollum been around, anyway?). I find it grows much more slowly than the ordinary form. Nicely coloured up too.

Crassula babrbata doing its thing. Unfortunately, this will almost certainly be the end of the plant - they usually flower and die, which is a shame, as they are very attractive even before flowering.

About 1981, it seems. With the Hobbit being first mentioned 1979.

I've grown this perhaps 4 or 5 times, and only once did it produce offsets.
