I don't know about red, but some have distinctly pinkish flowers, nothing to get too excited about. I'd just admire the fantastic spines.

Lots of sun today, so nice open flowers on these mesembs.

And a no-label possibly Aloinopsis villetii? (Unless you know different!)

The Aloinopsis name looks right, although it might also have another name. No flowers on mine though. And my T. hugo-schlechteri is dead. I do have this though, something nice and easy to grow. And baby sphal.
