I have recently discovered a web site for the Tucson Cactus & Succulent Society (TCSS) which seems to have gone unnoticed. The site contains an amazing amount of practical and educational information but best of all is that they have been recording their monthly talks and zoom meetings on youtube since 2017 and these are all still available.
The web site can be found under the following link:
https://tucsoncactus.org
and the talks are accessible using the "information" link under the monthly meetings and events tab.
For example; see the November 2020 talk on Hybrid Aloes by Karen Zimmerman of The Huntingdon or practical seed raising in June 2018. Some of the talks are technical, others unusual but plenty of content. Happy viewing.

Have a large balanced collection of both cacti and succulents but enjoy growing cristate, monstrose and generally anything a bit weird!

It's a v. good site - lots of pictures but the info is not geared to the conditions in the UK.
Their talks are OK if you are a "night owl" --- big time interval behind us

Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs.

Re: For anyone who enjoys monthly talks
Thank you Jerry.
If anyone else looks and thinks it's a bit strange there are no videos on their YouTube channel it's because they have their videos set as unlisted so if you search 'TCSS Meeting' on YouTube nothing shows up, you have to use the link from their website

All my plants are kept indoors and I started collecting in August 2018. Favourites are Pachyphytum, Echeveria, Haworthia, Mesembs and oddball Cacti.

Re: For anyone who enjoys monthly talks
The Tucson meetings are quite remarkable. I've spoken there twice and the first time I was there, I went in and thought I must be in the wrong room. There were hundreds of chairs set out! They told me they had about 700 members and about half turn up for meetings. I was expecting an average branch meeting of 30 or so, not 350! The second time I took a photo of the audience . The food set out for the break was more than we usually have for a one day convention in the UK. They're very well organised and a nice friendly group, hopefully conditions will improve so that I can get back sometime.
