It looks very special, in pink or white. I've never heard it called anything other than Turbinicarpus, though...

If it's accepted by the DNA surveys that Browningia and Rebutia are closely related, it's only a matter of time before we have Carnegia Valdezianus, and it's not April 1st until tomorrow.

This is my white-flowered form (with a pink tinge). I still favour the name Turbinicarpus valdezianus, and won’t be changing the label any time soon!
