Very nice, way ahead of mine.
I take it by the thread title there has been a name change that I have missed?

I only know if as Normanbokea or Pelecyphora. Some seedlists still use Pelecyphora, but I don't think I have ever heard a private person using a different genus than Turbinicarpus.

Love that title, could be applied to so many of the plants we grow. I'm sure I read somewhere that this plant has been placed in thirteen different genera since it was first described.

Beautiful
Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs.

My oldest one came with a label saying Turbinicarpus valdezianus. All my others have inherited the same name. Not quite flowering yet though.
