Will Bellaketty get a fissure?
These brutes are still babies to judge by their little portholes. Maybe a full fissure this year?
These 'Green Ivory' seedlings are a year younger and much tinier, probably not going to get a proper fissure for another couple of years.

Re: Will Bellaketty get a fissure?
On the verge of going off the topic, may I ask what substrate and "post-germination" watering schedule do you use? I believe my first try with Lithops was decimated by Sciarid fly larvae, so I'm planning to add a few mm layer of fine moler clay on top, but the note knowledge I gather, the higher chances they have this year!

Re: Will Bellaketty get a fissure?
I sow in my standard growing mix: about 40% cat litter, 40% JI #2, 20% grit. I use a finer grit for the seeds, when I remember. I don't make any attempt to bury the Lithops seeds. They are kept under plastic until germination is complete enough for me, plus a week or two. Once the plastic comes off, I water whenever the top of the soil dries out for a month or two, then less often. I'm not manic about it, they can go a week or two without water if they need to. At some point they will then get a top dressing of grit, possibly not until they are first potted on.

Thank you, matches exactly what I did. I guess I was just unlucky or too slow with the yellow traps and nematodes.

Re: Will Bellaketty get a fissure?
My (or probably my son's now as he wanted them in his room) Bellaketty started 'flipping their lids' yesterday. These are only a year old but with bigger fissures - do different plants develop fissures at different rates intrinsically or has Henry been lucky with his growing?

Mine are three years old unless my database is all up the spout. I'd say that's a long time to wait for this species to get a full fissure. Yours aren't quite there yet, but I'd say they're more normal for L. aucampiae.
Here are some more L. aucampiae the same age. Nothing like as big. And some from 2019:
