Hi all , my Biogreen Phoenix 2.8 heater has decided to die on me, it keeps tripping the fuse, I have isolated it from anything else so I know it's the heater itself.
Would anyone know of a UK service centre, or somewhere I could get it fixed ?

That's my next step, it my be cheaper to get another type of heater, due to postage plus repair, but I will check their contact details.

I'd be worried, even if repaired, that it would break again in the future.... probably at a more inconvenient time.

Any electrician wort his salt should be able to diagnose it and tell you what's wrong. Unfortunately a quick google doesn't throw up any spare parts so it may be a lost cause.
Running it at 2.8KW means it's pulling up to 13 Amps which is max for a domestic socket. It should really be wired into an industrial 16A socket.
Does it trip on all power settings?

If you’re not up to diy electrics, getting an electrician to repair this is likely to cost more than it is worth.
These heaters are excellent quality and pretty simple to work on, if you have sufficient skills. I expect the spares will be available from Biogreen. My three have never let me down although they run 24*7*365 and have done for many years.
There are much cheaper alternatives available. You might find that a new heater is cheaper than repairing your current one. You might finish up with a Skoda rather than an Audi, but I’m not sure that isn’t a good choice.

Well it ran well for a full five years, so time for something new, good job I have plenty of back ups, and a gas heater for power cuts!!
