Whatever it’s called has flowered
So bone dry, cold winter rest and bingo....
To be honest I wasn’t expecting it to survive -5 but it did and then it flowered. Quite pretty really for a weed.Mike

Very nice coloured flowers Mike! I thought (hoped?) I'd killed off the flat leaved form (no idea if it is a species or hybrid as it was hitchhiker in a cactus I bought) I'd got but some small ones survived and are growing rapidly.

Probably find it is self-fertile and you'll have hundreds of seedlings before you know it

I managed to eliminate them and their self-rooted plantlets from my collection and propagation house after about thirty years!

Get rid of it before it 'carefully conceals' itself in the middle of the opuntias. Maybe the folk in the greenhouse next door would like it!
