JL1 needs ID

Post by FredG »

The Job Lot of mesembs I acquired contained quite a few of these seedlings.

They've come on well in their various pots and now look like this.

Could someone please ID?

Cheirodopsis denticulata? It's a guess from the photos I looked at when I ordered some BCSS seed this year based on the plant shape and the spikey bits on the end of some leaves.

Edit - it wasn't BCSS seed but MSG seed from the 2020 list.

I think this is Schwantesia, not Cheiridopsis. Schwantesia borcherdsii seems likely but they're still a bit young to confirm that. Nicely grown, Fred.
