Very beautiful plant!
The location is (El Chiflon, Coahuila) and not El Chirlon.

I really like that. My example of the species has much less imposing spines.

Beautiful plant, I do like the Thelocactus with longer spines, at least they are straight and not hooked like some Ferocactus.

Those spines look "ouch"
Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs.
