I bought this plant from my local garden centre a few days ago. It's label said Mammillaria?

Re: ID please
I've usually called it Notocactus Apricus though there are a few other names going around for the same plant.

Re: ID please
It may have the wrong label, but it's a nice looking plant.
Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs.

Re: ID please
Thanks for your responses. Definitely Notocactus. It seemed to enjoy todays sunshine and had 6 flowers out at the same time.

Re: ID please
I'd have said the spines are a bit too tidy for concinnus or apricus. How about Notocactus fuscus? Although the flowers are a bit bright yellow for that.

Re: ID please
I would say that is Notocactus arnostianus, but you can check out the photos on Cactiguide.com but they still have it under the old name Parodia arnostiana.
Hope this helps
