Cotyledon orbiculata DT6539 S. Matjiesvlei
I've been watching this flower head form over the last few weeks. Nice plant with quite thin leaves but with long flower stem.

Re: Cotyledon orbiculata
Cotyledons often have large showy flowers, and if you are short on space, there are some smaller growing species to watch out for.

Re: Cotyledon orbiculata
I looked at my specimen of this. It is rather pot bound although in a 4 1/2" pot and does not look like it will flower this year alas. Yours is flowering in advance of my other Cotyledon orbiculatas, but my greenhouse is rather cold over winter. It does give a little longer growing season for these South African succulents.
Best wishes,

Interesting to see the different stages of the flowers on this rainy grey day.
