Well, a week or two on, the Monster is still growing - approaching 2metres -and flowering.

Having read Paul's article I'm curious to know where I might be able to acquire other species of Beschorneria. What wonderful plants!

Interesting. Your form is atypical. The leaves look shorter and more succulent plus the spike has no, or at least reduced, side branches.
