More bulbine

I even considered joining SABG just to find one, but I didn't see them on the last year's swap list and figured out it'll be a stretch. The hunt continues!

The list changes year to year. It all depends on what has been donated that year by members.

That's crystal clear, there just wasn't many Bulbines in general. On the other hand, my rather random sign up to the Sedum Society this year resulted in some great Crassulas obtained, so well worth the tenner or so!

Thanks Astro, very illuminating to see this is cultivation dependent. Mine stay pretty much soaking wet, hence the pointy leaves!

Astro, what about making B. mesembryanthemoides a plant of the month?!

Bulbine natalensis in flower today. Apparently the flower stem is not the only thing this plant can keep bolt upright I found googling it interesting, I am in my mid 70's.

Here's my bulbine mesembthingy. It is a very thirsty plant in my care but it must be happy as I have two flower spikes.
