Machairophyllum

Post by FredG »

I went down to the bottom greenhouse to check on the Neohenricia clone 2 after 20:30. It stubbornly still hadn't open, there was a promise for tomorrow though. Anyway, what did surprise me was this.

I hadn't noticed it was in bud and I was sitting in front of it with my magnifying headset on drinking coffee today.

Another trip tomorrow after dark has been scheduled

(tu)
Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs.

And then it decides to open up in the evening so you'll just have to suffer the photos.

Is the one on the left still the same flower? Great staying power if so!
