I have Echinocereus viridiflorus in flower at the moment... it's a nice plant with a marvellous scent to boot.

That's lovely Christian, it's a real bonus when flowers have a lovely scent, I enter the greenhouse and you know something is flowering before you've even spotted it.
Very colourfull spines (tu)

Wow they're lovely Mark, great mix of colors and something to look forward to. These really are tough plants.

It's great when the outdoor ones flower. I regularly get buds on E. triglochidiatus, but need some luck with the weather for them to open properly. E. viridiflorus used to be more reliable, but I lost it a couple of years ago and haven't planted out another one yet.

I wonder would anybody be able to identify this one for me.
I guess it was grown from seed in 1999 but this is the first time it has flowered.
Label was lost but I do have some possible names from the seed list to cross check if somebody can guess.
