As per the title, I acquired this as Graptopetalum bellum.

It obviously isn't Tacitus bellus (and I knew this when I saw it out if flower) but I thought it might be x Tacipetalum 'Superstar' or similar.

However the flowers are wrong for that and, seeing it in person, the leaves don't look right either.

I'm wondering if it might be x Tacisedum 'Barton Glory'?

Does anyone on here grow this and can confirm? Or tell me I've got it wrong!

Thanks Ernie. I really like it too and am not in the least bit disappointed with it. Be nice to get a tentative name on a label at least though!

There is a cross with Sedum suaveolens named Tacisedum 'Heswall', you can sort of see both parents in that, your plant does appear to be little more Tacitus like though so I am wondering if it could be a back cross? Whatever it is, it's a decent addition to your collection, Ed.
I have never come across Barton Glory though so cant really help much.

I've seen this one grown in huge numbers in Holland. Flowers are usually pale pink and long-lasting. It's far more vigorous than the standard Tacitus with strong red flowers. I've only ever seen it as 'Tacitus hybrid'. I would expect to see them at UK Cactus Marts later this year.

Thanks both. According to the International Crassulaceae Network page 'Barton Glory' is a backcross of 'Heswall' with Tacitus bellus so would bear out what you said.

I've currently got it labelled as X Tacisedum ? So not far off your Tacitus hybrid suggestion Stuart!

I used to have ‘Heswall’, which had rather disappointingly white flowers, here’s an old photo

Yours is a much nicer plant Edds, and one I shall look out for. I see there is also a ‘Barton Pink’, which looks similar.

Thanks Juster. It has multiple heads so when I repot it after flowering (it's not in my compost mix!) I can see if any are loose and we can swap? (If you wouldn't prefer and can find one of the wholesale plants Stuart mentioned!)

Thanks Ed, that’s really kind and I will happily swap with you. I don’t have Heswall any longer, but have both of its parents plus a good number of Echeverias. I will await your repotting
