Hi, I have this plant that isn't doing well
I've had it for over 7 months. It is in the bathroom and I am watering it up to once a week. The new growth shrivels after I water it but the old growth gets skinny when I don't water it. I got this from Ralph.
It is in 33% organic soil and 66% inorganic.

Re: peperomia columella help wanted
I'd move it from the bathroom to a much dryer and sunnier position, it's a succulent in the end. Mine are doing rather well on the shelf with other C&S plants I have, let's say it's getting a Haworthia amount of light.
On the tips going black, I had very similar symptoms and assumed it might be caused by some living creatures. It might be fully coincidental, but two dozes of acetamiprid (Bug Clear Ultra) and quite regular IPA sprays helped, touch wood.

Yes, mine is also in the greenhouse and gets treated as a succulent. Lower leaves can drop off, but I suspect the ultimate problem is a lack of light (and possibly too much humidity).

I'd suggest putting the roots in a pot....
