It is nice to see the occasional plant where the botanical name is justified. The Latin guttatus meaning spotted or speckled in chickens or dappled or piebald in horses. From gutta - a drop of fluid or natural spots on animals, stones, etc.

I know they are trying to attract flies, but why would nature imitate blood spatter around a gunshot wound? :grin:
