Not so much an id as this I believe this is an Easter cactus though I might be wrong. It’s an old plant from my parents and I wonder if someone could ID the variety from the flower. Hopefully the colours have come across OK, predominantly red but with a violet streak. The flowers are about 5 inches in diameter.

Re: ID please
It’s an Epiphyllum hybrid. But beyond that, who can say. There are literally thousands of hybrids and I have two from seed that have just flowered and look very similar to yours.
But please don’t let the absence of a name put you off. If you like it, give it your own name. My flowered seedlings are currently called Epi1, Epi2 through to Epi7.... one day I might get more creative.

Re: ID please
Epiphyllums are usually quite easy to name, particularly the hybrids, a close inspection of the stem will usually show that the nursery has written the name on the stem with a black Sharpie. Without that, it could be just about anything.

Re: ID please
It must be an old hybrid if you can still see the name written with a Sharpie.
They used to be pretty permanent, but now I find anything you write with one fades pretty quickly...
Maybe that's why there are lots in circulation without a name.
