Cleistocactus firepower

Post by Mike »

I'm very pleased with the flowering of my C. strausii this year - far more than before. Multiple salvos. I wonder why!

Mine has also done really well Mike, I can’t work out why. Strange when we had such a dull overcast winter.

Thats a serious mass of flowers, I wondered if it was because of the good sun we had early this year, my pachypodium is a mass of flowers this year.

Hi Mike,
That is a serious concentration of flowers in a small space, excellent, well done. Perhaps it is flowering on last spring's growth.
My bedded out plant has also been flowering for the last few weeks, photo below this morning, but the flowers are more spread out.
