Very cute.

The plant is eaten in Northern Kenya but you might have to wait a while to get a full meal off it.

Try Rhadamanthus platyphyllus (a bulb from SA). I think the flowers are about 1mm across. Showy it isn't...

Mind you, Euphorbia platyclada has flowers which are not much bigger.

But you don't grow Euphorbias for flowers Ralph. Stapeliads are supposed to be the orchids of the succulent world...
