Plus - it's on the Green List so you can go and see it in St.Helena and if you can get a direct flight back from their hardly-used new airport, there's no need to quarantine.
I keep looking at my plant and I think it's a dead twig.

It's a rather un-Pelargonium-like flower, I must say.

Mine turned out to be a dead twig. It was the cultivar 'Ventnor' and came from ISI at The Huntington. It was supposed to have matt leaves rather than the normal form with shiny leaves. I don't think it had any leaves last year, I probably overwatered it when it was dormant and killed the roots. I 've just taken it out of its pot and snapped it in half, definitely no sign of life. I'll probably look for one at ELK this year.

It’s basically a winter grower but can be opportunistic. I don’t water after the end of March and start again in September. In winter it gets the sunniest spot I can find, I water weekly and give an occasional weak feed.

That is where I might be failing then. I was advised that the plant would enjoy watering, although light, throughout summer-time as well. My plant seemed to appreciate it as was happily producing new leaves, but it did not flower. I might try it next year then.
