Rebutia/Aylostera ‘Amber’

Post by Diane »

It’s no wonder Rebutia hybrids are so popular when they can put on a display like this:

Very aptly named ‘Amber’, one of the many beautiful hybrids from Southfields Cactus nursery. I have a modest collection of these, but this one is quite outstanding!

Wow
Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs.

I agree Diane it is outstanding. The size and longevity of the flowers on mine has been amazing this year. I think I need to improve my culture to get a show as good as you have got though!
