A wonderful display, Jeff!
But if I was able to keep 10 each of all my favourite plants, then I would need a greenhouse as large as those at Wisley or Kew.

Wow, these are lovely! Not a plant I've ever tried but I now feel inspired

Re: A Tea Tray of Strombocactus
Interesting how some have smaller flowers. Is that just the age of the plants, or stage of flowering? Or are they from different localities?

Re: A Tea Tray of Strombocactus
I don't know Ralph, but the one mid right has a dead growing point, and now has about a dozen small offsets 1-2cm across, and they all flower but with little flowers. And of course the crest has lots of tiny flowers. I bought the one in the clay pot from Abbey Brook in the 1980's and it's the parent of 5 of those in the picture.

True Tony, but it's not so bad when 10 of your favourite plants fit on a tea tray.

Fantastic dispaly Jeff, made me envious seeing your mohawk so one is now on its way from China to me .
please have a look at the plant on the left, this was a new purchase from the late David kirkbrights collection, its so different from all mine with much plumper tubercles is it a ssp or just natural variation.
Just a shame I only managed to get one so I hope it selfs.
