The transition from cold wet May to flaming June was too much for Crassula suzannae

Oh no Mike. I hope you can salvage enough to get it going again.

Oh no! that’s bad luck. The weather certainly has been very difficult for our plants. Good luck with the salvage operation!

That’s a real shame, Mike! Looks as though there might be some growth at the sides that might be salvageable. Mine are grown under a shelf, so are a bit shaded, fortunately. And it’s such a slow grower.

You have my sympathies. I also find this is quite a touchy plant to grow, and have had to restart it more than once.

There’s quite a bit of green at the back away from the sun so should be ok but take a while to get back to that size. And it was in the same place on the shelf that it always inhabits.
Aloe melanacantha has a couple of scorched leaves too.

The sudden weather transition was just too much.

That's such a shame but you have some green bits, I had the same with some of my baby agaves went light brown with too much sun as they were getting it late evening from the side with no protection, fixed now but look awful
